I am seeking help on the challenges faced finding secure accommodation for my son, who has a learning disability

Just wondering whether anyone has used anything other than My Safe Home to buy a property. They seem really good and have been very helpful. However, as we live in a London Borough (for shared ownership with My Safe Home) we have to buy a property through Homes for Londoners and they are in very short supply in the borough we live in.

I am loathe to change location as this is where my son's care provision is (through the borough) and as change is a problem this would make life difficult.

I understand that even if I had the finances to purchase a property (which I don't personally but may be able to get help from relatives) I would not be able to rent it to my son as he would not be able to claim housing benefit (due to renting from a close relative).

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Happy to chat too. My son has a mortgage agreed in principle with them. Do you know how to take this offline? I have just added my email and received a warning
