Hi Everybody! We are a cookery school based in Walton, Liverpool. We teach cookery courses and independent living skills. We offer transport as part of our service to enable service users from all over the Liverpool area to attend and enjoy what we have to offer. A lot of our students enjoy the social aspect of StedyChefs as well as learning how to cook amazing food! We have days out at the end of each term which are also included in the daily cost. Service users are usually funded to attend through the local authority via direct payments. Please call our team on 01519361968 for more information and book a free taster session with us. We hope to hear from you soon!

hi ,im an 38 year old adult with classic autism and mild learning disability and a bunch of other boring stuff.im in manchester otherwise id use your service,it sounds awesome. i know walton a bit as i had to go to the walton neuro institute a lot when i was younger, i actualy found people in walton to be friendlier than in my own home town.

stedyshefs kind of reminds me of foxes hotel near exmoor (i dont know if you know of it but i saw it on a documentary once, its a hotel for anyone but its ran by learning disabled people up to the age of 25,theyre taught how to cook to a profesional elvel) ,ive always wondered why the north west hasnt had anything even close to similar for adults apart from bespoke day centres like mine and specialist colleges like my old one-the david lewis centre which runs its own dog salon from within the college ,but its great your bringing cookery to the north west as i know lots of people who woud love to go,they just all happen to live in manchester sadly.

if you eveer need anything acesible for leflets or a websitee such as pictorials to make easy read infomation- please just feel free to give me a shout,i love helping out other people.i have acess to and know a lot of pictorial providers-some of which are free-legaly,others i pay for.

Sounds like you offer really great services there. Do many of your students go on to paid employment in restaurants etc?
