Hi, please I don't know if this is allowed here.

I am a social work student writing my dissertation on the effectiveness of bereavement support on individuals with Learning Disabilities.

Please,do you mind me asking if there is any legislation/ Law that included bereavement support for individuals with Learning Disabilities in England?

That deals with legislation on bereavement leave for those in work. Equality Act means one shouldn't discriminate on certain grounds e.g. disability, but that's probably not what you're after.

Community Learning Disability team provided some easy read documentation when my LD daughter lost a grandparent. Otherwise you may get bereavement support from charities for example, Longfield (in Gloucestershire), Care for the Family, Macmillan or other cancer charities if that was applicable.
