Fantastic news about the vaccine!

Hopefully you have already spotted this in the news (there is a post on here already about it) that in England, all people with a learning disability who are on the GP Learning Disability Register can have the vaccine.

In Wales and Northern Ireland, there has also been exciting news about all people with a learning disability prioritised for the vaccine.

Thank you for all your support for this campaign.

really pleased with this news - well done for campaigning - I think the final push was Jo Whiley plus g.p. s beginning to rebel anyway - various counties - and all of Scotland - had decided to give all people with LD the vaccine - and in our personal case the GP had invited my son - all before the government officially changed the advice.

The ANNOYING part is the official statement from the gov still implies it's just to cover people with severe LD etc - completely ignoring the stats that say otherwise!

My son had his vaccine, they were kind and considerate at the centre, and he had no problems having it or afterwards. Such a relief that he has had it!
