Dear all

We are so sorry that many of you will have had your Christmas plans changed at the last minute because of the new guidance. It is so disappointing and upsetting. New tier 4 Easy Read guidance will be ready very soon on here.

It is been such a strange and difficult year, but we wanted to say thank you for all your amazing posts in 2020, and we want to wish you all a safe and peaceful Christmas.

The online community team are taking a break over Christmas and new year. Please do carrying on posting on here – but bear in mind that we are not checking the community as often.

Fun stuff

We’d love to hear about your Christmas and new year. Please let us know what you are up to and how you are getting in a festive mood – films, food, music, games. Let’s spread some Christmas cheer where we can.

There a lot of Christmas activities and information on here - mencap.org.uk/here-you-chri...

Check out the activity packs and accessible recipes.

Hi Mencap staff (including all volunteers, moderators etc), I hope you all have a great Christmas and you all cope with whatever these changes throw at you.I hope you all relax and don’t keep looking in at the site if you are supposed to be doing family Christmassy stuff.🙂

And .an early merry Christmas to everyone else using the group!

,it’s going to be very difficult for me coping without my usual routine and family but at least I always have my support staff with me and PRN medications to help my behaviors and anxiety ,some people have no one and nothing to help, I am here a lot if anyone ever wants a chat over Christmas.
