Hi does anyone on here live in the Worcestershire area who has a child with global development delay non verbal

I’m looking to meet like minded parents to share our experiences with

We’ve had some really positive days out but also some not so positive it would be really good to be in touch with others to share our experiences with

Hello Baggles

It is great to hear from you. Meeting other parents is a great idea. They will understand both the good and bad days.

Is there a Carers centre in your area? Have a look on the Carers Trust website here - carers.org/help-and-info/in...

If so, it would be worth getting in touch as they will know what is going on near you. They may even run groups themselves, and they could be able to help with any other questions you have.

I have had a quick look (forgive me, I don't know the area at all so please ignore these if they are miles away from you):

> parentcarers.org.uk/

> carersworcs.org.uk/parent-c...

I don't know anything these groups, but do have a look to see if they are what you are looking for.

It may also be worth asking at your GPs or local Children's centre (if you have one nearby). Again, they should know what is available locally.

Best wishes

Sarah
