Hi everyone, I hope you're all staying safe.

My name is Amber.

I am a postgraduate Psychology student at University College London and I'm doing some research with Mencap.

I'm interested in the experiences that people with learning disabilities have of relationships.

There is more information in the attached image.

I'd be very grateful if you do my short survey.

Please click the link below.

Thanks so much :)

Hello Amber

I tried to access the short survey but found that it would not allow me access any further than the consent page which asked if I understood all the questions of which I said no because there were no questions.

I was then dismissed as not suitable even though I did not have the opportunity to say that I was or was not learning disabled.

I have a son who has SLD but we have not been open simply because he has probably no concept of "relationships"

Sometimes I read about the articles and blogs which could show me up as naive but I am open minded and safe and I don't know if that is wrong for my son of 33. Would you say that there is a border between allowing relationships and not allowing?
