Help and support for my 13 year old son

Hi my son is 13 he has learning and remember things he has problems processing things into his brain and gets confused and forgets lots of things he has dyspraxia and poor hand control to he is really struggling at school with his wrk he is in the bottom set for his work he does sometimes have a one to one but the school only offers it sometimes he comes home upset and angry as he carnt cope and upset that he can not do the things he is asked he is in year 5 and he has ben brought home alot of wrk to do which he has thrown away to the bin and to upset that he cannot do it I'm wanting to see if I can get any help for him as it is very frustrating for him

I think speak to your doctor for getting help for his learning disability and see if he is autistic high functioning or Asperger's

Also speak to the SENCO teacher in school. They should guide you too.

I have had meetings in school and with senco they say they will help and I dont think they know what they are doing as it's not a special needs school just a normal one all I get is 1 teacher will sit next to him and move him forward to the board and try write things down for him to explain the question with his work
