I'm afraid I can't speak to those particular drugs; my husband took Tafinlar and Mekinist with very little negative side effects. I hope someone else in the group can help.

Hi, sorry I am replying this late. My husband was on the trial of this drug, you may want to read some of my earlier posts about that. he did very well on it, had to be taken off of it because of side effects. He developed Cold Agglutinin Disease, a type of hemolytic anemia. Other than that he was fine. Talking to our oncologist it seems the toxicity of this combo is lower than ipi/nivo and the effect are comparable. Hope that helps!

I've had four infusions, and no significant side effects. Diagnosed with Stage IV melanoma lungs, brain, spleen, stomach, skull, femur in December 2022. After two months was rescanned and results were no significant new growth and many tumors shrunk 30 to 50%. Feel great and lungs have cleared up significantly. Exceeded my expectations.

Thank you for sharing and I’m so happy for the results you are experiencing. My husband had been on it a year and has thyroid issues and is now on thyroid medication. Other than that, so far so good. We see our oncologist next Wednesday.

I pray you continue to feel well and be NED in the very near future. Thank you again, love to hear success stories.
