Pyroluria testing

Please could anyone recommend a good Lab. in the UK which tests for Pyroluria?

Hi Raffs. I came across it by accident when I was researching zinc. I loose my hair quite a lot and it seems to be a lack of zinc. I couldn't understand why this seems to keep happening.

This condition could be the reason.

When I looked into it if you had 15 or more items on the list you had it - I had 20 something!

I must do a bit more reading on it.

For the low Zinc you do a Zinc Tally Test it seems, which isn't too hard to do and you do at home:

not sure about lab testing in UK sorry! Let me know how you get on.

Looks like the zinc tally test might not be accurate with me as I have amalgam fillings.

If it turns out that I have Pyroluria it also means a low B6 which would account for other symptoms too. ie. fatigue and depression.

I will research further before deciding what to do.
