β This is the first of our two 10 mile weeks! If you are taking part please run your 10miles on any day this week - Monday 31st August to Sunday 6th of September.
There are three things we'd love it if you'd do (all are optional of course!):
β Get your Pom Poms out and give everyone taking part a BIG CHEER in the comments!!! π
β Run the 10 miles π
β When you have run, write a RACE REPORT to let us know how you got on! PLEASE write your reports as standalone posts if you can bear it - and include a photo (we do love reading reports with photos)!! πππ
β β But definitely please let us know when you have completed your run so we can give you YOUR MEDAL and YOUR WOOHOO!!!
The next 10 mile race will be during week commencing September 14th rather than next week. hope that will still work for you π€. We have a special challenge for you next week ... more on that shortly π€ͺ
Well, if youβll let me count my first 10 miler that I ran on Sunday (weβll just say that it was very early on 31st π), then hereβs the report: healthunlocked.com/marathon...
Iβm heading out this morning - but I can tell you now Iβm not making it a race! Running my 10k race on Sunday and making it a harder effort than normal has left my legs quite weary! No pain, just fatigued, so I gave myself Monday and Tuesday off. Today is the day then. Iβm going up to the Common in the next 30 minutes and Iβm just going to trot around! Iβll βgo for itβ on the next one! π πββοΈπΎ
Run done linda9389! Not a speedy attempt on purpose, but 10 miles is 10 miles, and the fact I did it 3 days after running my 10k race, and mostly on trails makes me chuffed! Time was 2:16:36 for 16.15k, and Iβm happy with that. Iβll do the next one on the streets of Bristol and see what happens! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
