Hey all you speedy sloggers! π
Thank you and well done to everyone who took part in our dual Summer Challenges. You are ALL SUPERSTARS!!!!!!

Here's my brief summary of the results!
The DISTANCE CHALLENGE was a great opportunity for us all to sport our running AND cross-training skills - and you know how much I love that πππ
We didn't quite make it, but we managed to get TWO THIRDS OF THE WAY ROUND THE MOON!!!!!! Awesome π₯
Our top-three Moon-circling superstars are:
β linda9389 with a whopping 1147.6 km on her bike!!! We love you and we know your new-found love of cycling will pay dividends once you're back on your feet π
β Setters with an amazing 676.37 km - a lot of walking with those beautiful dogs π
β GoGo_JoJo with 382.1 km - our resident freestylin' trail marathoner π₯
The SPEED CHALLENGE brought out more of the shorter distances this time! A 3k, a few 1k, and even a 500m run were on the list this time. There were a few ups and downs as ever, and struggles in the warm weather, but I think some of you really surprised yourselves!!
You all did amazingly well, and my special top-three speedy superstars are:
β Tbae ! Our 500 meter superstar πππ Perhaps a new career in track running beckons?
And two new faces, who I hope will be back for the next Speed Challenge??! π
β R4inbow ! A solid performance, and this quote says it all: "Thanks so much for sharing these challenges, it's really spurred me on and given me something different to think about this month, especially with the speed where I knocked 42 seconds off my PB (which was from January) at parkrun on Saturday π" Love it!!!
β Snuffy_T ! You had a bad one in the second week, but you came back SO strongly - well done!!!
AND a special shout-out to SkiMonday , who was a great Challenger in the Spring and for the first part of this Challenge, but had to take a break from running for some much-needed heart-rest. Glad to see you're getting back on your feet now, Ski! And thank you for reminding me that the Moon is made of Cheese π xxx
Happy running, resting, and cross-training everyone!
