I listen to podcasts on long runs, great time to catch up with science programmes and The Archers
Much as they are put derided, the algorithms in Spotify mixes seem to work for me. I also like listening to the Spotify playlists others on here put together.
Definitely Spotify for me if it's music, but I also listen to podcasts or audiobooks if I'm running somewhere quiet enough
Spotify for music, but at the moment I am mostly on podcasts/audiobooks. May make an exception for the big event though, be nice to listen to what everyone else is listening to on our "virtual" event!
iTunes. Am I really the only one?
Lol! I forgot about Apple, what a fool π runningdad
I've added it to the list, but I'm afraid you can't vote again. We will note down your comments though!
Apple Music
Spotify for music, but BBC Sounds for podcasts. Unless they're French ones!
I prefer the sound of silence (literally; not the Simon and Garfunkel version, which I very much liked in its day!) π
Podcast Addict. I can put custom tracks in there too, which is how I listen to the BBC stuff having downloaded it using get_iplayer.
For live radio I use an app called Transistor, but Podcast Addict can do live radio too if you have the stream's URL.
(Android phone)
Like many others, Spotify for music but I listen to more podcasts on BBC sounds and elsewhere. I'm a recent convert to podcasts, perhaps a combination of rarely hearing the car radio during lockdown, and my Aeropex headphones which means I can hear "Fortunately" plus birdsong and traffic. There's a Spotify Runner's Club 160bpm list, recommended by someone on here ages ago, which is the only thing which carries me through the last few km of a longer run.
I use my Garmin watch and playlists that I sync from an app called MediaMonkey which holds my entire CD and digital library
BBC Sounds or Google Podcasts, but always music - I can't do anything without it!π
I either listen to downloads on my mp3. Or more often recently, just the birdsong and wind rushing past my ears!
My own various selection on my watch. Just go with whatever plays of the 500 odd on there.
I usually listen to the radio π»
I just use the basic music app on my phone set to random. Never really know what I'm going to get.
