What is your favourite colour JELLY BABY? π§‘πππβ€οΈπΆ IMPORTANT RESEARCH!!! π
Please select one:
We all know the truth.
Those colours are confusing me!! π
Dont eat them - yet! Timely research for me as I try to increase distance and will clearly soon need jelly babies π€£π€£π€£
Red is never my favourite colour sweet- except for Jelly Babies π§
Did you know that Jellybabies are an important pychiatric diagnostic tool.?
Tell me more!
I went to my old Unit's Shrink.
First I asked him why he sent for me.
He showed me the petition from the Battalion....
Then, he gives me a Jellybaby. I barely had time to taste it hardly when he snatched it back from me and examined it closely.
He then explained...
"If you bite the head off first - you're a latent homicidal maniac"
"If you bite the feet off - you have low self-esteem"
"If you bite the buttocks off, your a crawling untrustworthy promotion seeker"
" If you bite the chest off, you have an Oedipus Complex"
" However..." He continued " You're the first ever to grab the Jellybaby by the neck, scream at it to stop staring at you and then bite it's eyes out...."

I think they taste a bit wrong, so don't really eat them. The fact they are made from ground up pig parts ie skin/bone/gristle/genitals etc I find a bit off putting, though you can probably get vegan ones.
If you're prepared to eat pig then any bit should do!
I've not come across vegan ones so far - I think you've uncovered a gap in the market π
Veggie Percy Pigs though, they're the creme de la creme of the sweet world. I could (and do) eat many veggie Percies in one sitting.
I'm a terrible vegetarian as I do happily eat jelly babies when offered too. π€·ββοΈ
I decline ... veggie Percy Pigs are good but veggie Colin the Caterpillar sours are even better.
I'm not vegetarian or vegan and quite happily eat the ground up bits of most things hehe. My objection to jelly babies is more on a taste basis. I can enjoy them in small quantities but they get a bit wrong very quickly for me. You can get ones made from bovine bits rather than porcine bits but I guess most people just have a general bits concern or not.. Even vegan sweets are allowed to have a certain percentage of insect bits in them as all food manufacturing allows so nothing is every really meat free. Yes I couldn't find a veggie baby when I looked. Odd eh! Maybe can't get the texture right.
I take either haribo (I have a stash of mini packs from trade shows) or fruit pastilles which love in my bag. My jelly babies get eaten by the boyfriend before I manage to run with them if left in a big bag. I keep looking for mini bags but none yet.
Iβm not picky, I like all colours of jelly babies, so Iβm a bit disappointed there isnβt a choice for βall of themβ ......π.....ππ......rocket fuel is rocket fuel πββοΈπ

I was delighted to find they are THE recommended running fuel. Almost makes it worth entering another HM so I can buy more.
Not worried about the dodgy ingredients. Mr L-L says I would eat a turd if it was served up on a plate; not sure I'd go that far. But we all love sausages which are only one step removed from gelatine after all.
I used to love jelly babies, but I donβt eat them now as 30 years ago I developed an allergy to all citrus. Very annoying!
Important question I've got a half in October how many bags of jelly babies do you think I'll need?
Depends. Do you mean how many bags to support you through the rest of your training up to the end of the race? Or just for the race?
For the race knowing me I'll probably snaffle a bag in the first 10 mins π
They all taste the same to me.
I love the fact that red is blue and orange is purple!!!!
Has to be green all the way. Have always loved green sweets! Pear drops, green pastilles, the lime barrel in the Milk Tray (I think that got discontinued in the 1980's though).
