I said 'other' because I prefer to run with Google, but if we're only talking humans then yes, on my own.
Nice to have the possibility of doing things differently sometimes though.
Oh blimey I forgot dogs/ other pets as i dont have one. i need to Amend!!!
I enjoyed running with a partner of the same speed and level. Sadly I have no friends to run with so I run solo. Hubs was good for a while until his knee gave up 😭
I honestly don't know. Apart from two attempts at joining my local running club, which I didn't really enjoy, and excluding organised races, I have never run with anyone else. So I run on my own, but not necessarily out of a conscious choice.
Actually I am the same as Tomas in that I don't know what it's like to run with someone else. But I'm generally pretty antisocial
I tried running with Kiddo, my ego never got over him pushing me up the hill on Mother's day. Running is my 'me' time, when it's just my legs moving whilst I let my brain run riot or switch off.
I have had some lovely runs with wonderful people from this forum: GoogleMe and Oldfloss , and misswobble and I met up at the Longhorn, which was fab. I have met up with a fair few people from the Beyonders group on FB for runs as well as races. I have really enjoyed these runs and I feel privileged to have met such great people. And... I am still a solitary runner at heart
I look forward to our next run Murph😁 I can't enter a race yet though as my credit card has been cancelled owing to stupidly misplacing it. I fancy the race through the tunnels that you mentioned. We have organised a race together, or two ? 🤔
I ran with another lady yesters, and a way fast collie, just a lap as she needed to walk, but me and the dog had a good run. I run with a local group sometimes but they meet so infrequently 🙄 So mostly it's just me, which suits me fine. You get used to it don't you. Your music, your podcast, your pace. No,,waiting about for other folks to show up 👍 When I begin to struggle, and the going gets tough, I prefer to be alone 😁
I prefer to go alone. For me it’s my route, my music, my rules. Last week I ended up being in my local park at the time when Park Run was kicking off so I did what people like me do – I ran in opposite direction for the entire 5K race lol. Like a blind hamster dressed all black, resembling a male version of Scottish Widow.
