what do you hate about running?

I can't vote for any of those, but mine would be the first 10 minutes or so. It was always like that in my C25k days, some things never change, its almost always hard work to begin with
My horror - dog poo. I cannot ever totally relax or stop looking at the ground in front of me for fear of stepping in it. If I did it would ruin my whole run, and I would feel like throwing out my shoes. I know that is a bit over the top, and in reality my lovely husband would (and has done) clean them for me, but I just can't stand it.
Mine is a fear of falling . I have had a couple of falls, and although I have put it to the back of my mind, the fear does tend to sneak up on me and I have to make myself think of something else quickly ! xxx
The thing I hate most is all the non-runners who constantly tell you running is bad for your health (this takes many forms and can be non-verbal/subtle, e.g. finding the newspaper folded in such a way that the story about a runner who collapsed and died is prominent).
Cars that don't indicate at all think we are blooming telepathic and know exactly what there are going to do, pet hate from driving too, can you tell lol
I've put cars, but come to think of it sometimes I love it when I have to stop and wait to cross a road (huff puff)
Ha ha roseabi , I totally agree ! Yes sometimes when running along roads I have a little wish to myself " Please let the lights be on green so I can stop for a minute " xxx
I also vote for the first 10 minutes of any run. Just get past those, and everything is great!
Definitely the losing the other sock thing. I have reinforced socks for my ankles. I especially like the blue ones and one of them is always trying to escape so I waste time looking for it before I go Out!
I almost went for cyclists, but as its only one troll on a bike who rides (in all the proper gear, I might add) at full pelt towards me on a narrow pavement - note it is an offence to cycle on a pavement - and has actually hit me and then not stopped, and all other cyclists I've come across have been nothing but lovely, I thought that a little unfair. I have not tackled said troll on a bike as, a) it's a 'he', b) he's at least twice my size, and c) I was on my own when he hit me - I have reported the incident to the local community officers though. 😁

Hills! I hate hills! Especially because I live at the top of one and always have to save a bit of energy for the walk (climb) home
Could be any of these depending in time and circumstance. I love the occasional breather when I have to wait for cars to pass, but not being able to cross a road when trying to do a fast km is frustrating 😉
