Only to wake me up before an early morning run. Not anything to do with performance
Generally I have a couple of swigs of strong green tea, it definately helps with the via va Voom at 5.30 AM!!!
Early morning runs are done on 2 cups of tea (my usual breakfast). So yes but only because it's my liquid of choice.
Later runs are done as they come, hydrated, but nothing "special" as in caffeinated drinks.
Likewise, morning cup of tea at 7:30am, then parkrun at 9:00am. Often have a double espresso when I get back from parkrun, but normally in the week I drink decaffinated coffee.
So I answered 'No' to the poll.
I need coffee in the morning before I can function..... running or no running. 😂
Ahh...if the 3 mugs of tea before breakfast count....😳
I am a complete tea addict, like Folkieboater 3 mugs every morning whether I'm running or not. Bit of a nuisance really as I have to hang around until it's, ahem, passed through, don't want any accidents en route!
