There's no finer cure, I reckon.

No way. Can't face it. Even without a hangover my running is impaired after 3/125ml glasses of wine.

I really don't drink enough nowadays to ever have a hangover, which sounds a bit saintly, but I don't actually like drinking alcohol that much any more. The last time I had a proper hangover ( many years ago!) I couldn't even get out of bed, let alone go for run!

I very rarely drink the night before a run, in fact my drinking is usually limited to a couple of glasses of wine once a week, usually in the evening after a long run.

...though in my justification for running as a cure, I would just like to say, I don't go in for hangovers too often!

I'm trying so hard to use my new incarnation as a runner to stop me being someone who gets hungover, but it still seems to happen...

In my early days of running I used to pride myself on my hangover PB's at Parkrun!! Now though I love the feeling of running with a clear head on a saturday morning. Since the 10th Feb i have completely changed my drinking habits from drinking every day ( yes sadly I did) to since that time i have drunk on about 7 occassions.... I feel so much better and my mum says I look 10 years younger....

I used to go swimming with a hangover, and would always find my hangover "gone" afterwards. I was interested and looked for research. There was nothing conclusive, but some speculation that the feeling of wellbeing carried by post-exercise endorphins might cancel out the effects of the hangover. Ah the human brain is a wonderful thing :)

I always found swimming cured a hangover, I put it down to the chlorine!

I am so glad to see the back of hangovers. I never ever want another one ☺ Running is my addiction now

So much better than booze fags and junk food 😊 She shouts from the pulpit like some fervent evangelist 😇

I did stop drinking completely to the run of the marathon, but since Brighton a bit like my running that's gone down hill a bit! Last week when I was on holiday I had a drink everyday (there was a bottle of gin I had to drink before we went home)

Must get back on it.
