Here is our article on the same subject - the FHR-4 protein found could help improve diagnosis and lead to treatments, but as this research is in it's very early stages and may take years for a new way to diagnose/treat AMD - however a very exciting project and something to keep an eye on!!

Hi ironbrain. Very interesting, thanks for sharing it. It's too late for me, especially now that they have eeked my appointments out to every eight weeks instead of five but it will certainly help many many more.
