Did anyone else hear the wonderful interview on the Jeremy Vine show (BBC R2) yesterday of the deaf blind young woman who is a fourth year medical student? She is so inspiring and made me take stock a bit of my condition and putting hurdles in the way of what I can achieve whilst having impaired vision.

I didn't hear the interview, but I did hear her in an interview on another programme. It was indeed fascinating to hear how she was able, (with help obviously), to diagnose and treat patients. She must have had terrific drive and enthusiasm to peruse her goal of qualifying to practicing as a doctor!
