Went for review after my fourth injection today and their is finally an improvement. So pleased. Only downside is continuing with the awful injections, but needs must.

Hi. So pleased for you. It's such a good feeling when you are told there is improvement. Don't worry about continuing with the injections. I know it's unpleasant but if it helps it's worth it and is probably the best thing to do. I had 4 injections and then a break as the fluid cleared up but last scan showed another haemorrhage so had to have another injection. Look at the next injection as a positive as it may well prevent further bleeds or leaks. Enjoy the good news. 2468G

So pleased for you that the injections are working. They are not pleasent but if they are helping it's worth putting up with.

Good luck.

Eyelea working well and did from first injection . .now had eight and when they said I would have every 8 weeks I was overjoyed. When they then said every 10 weeks I felt like I'd won a prize and a holiday from the dreaded needle! As my mum used to say 'Worse things happen at sea!' Doesn't stop me being agitated in the run up though which is now as next injection due on next Monday. Onwards and upwards!

So happy for you that injections are so far apart. Praying that I reach that stage because they really are yuck!

Pretty yuck is a polite way of putting it but I do feel truly pathetic at how worked up I get about something that lasts seconds . . .okay it can be uncomfortable after but I get a brand new bottle of drops each time (Superdrug cheapest) and use copiously so not that bad. Ha ha now I've realised it's next week . .yikes!
