Thought I would post good news update! Moorfields at St George's is undergoing renovation so I attended the main Moorfields hospital on Monday for 11th injection for branch vein retinal occlusion. I've had to have 5 weekly injections for a while as some oedema returned when first put on 6 weekly. On Monday , was told I can go to 8 weeks now so am keeping everything crossed that this works- but pleased to have a longer break between injections.

The other good news was that after a difficult time because of rail strikes ( I stayed at St Georges' accommodation as wouldn't have been able to get into London) and very crowded underground, the actual injection was fantastic- hardly knew I had had it done. I'd been nervous as knew it would be different staff. So, very pleased at present but realise it's early days!!
