Hi I got diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome in 2014 ( MSH6). My mum in the past has had 3 types of cancers. My brother tested all ok. I have all regular checks and am considering a full hysterectomy.

In women with MSH6 the two cancers with greatest risk are large bowel, colon and uterus. You should have 1-2 yearly colonoscopies and hysterectomy (no need for ovaries to be removed but many women do). There is an increased risk of urological cancers (kidney, ureter and bladder ) but no screening at present.
