I know everyone is different but does anyone else notice whether they get more mouth ulcers after having Denosunab jab? Plus body not being as subtle as before. Look forward to your thoughts. Kind regards.

Hi PinkOrange

Sorry to hear you are having some mouth ulcers which I imagine are quite unpleasant for you.

If you have not already, do let your oncology team know, it is important that they are aware of this. There can be some side effects from this medication that can cause mouth sores, oral or dental issues.

This link from Cancer Research UK provides information on the side effects to be aware of: cancerresearchuk.org/about-...

For any new or worsening symptoms, it is advisable to let the acute oncology team know, this is usually a 24 hour number that was provided for you and they will assess your symptoms and provide the appropriate care for you.

If you are interested we have online support groups through zoom and you can view and register for these through this link: roycastle.org/help-and-supp...

Hope you hear from others in the forum of their experience and you are welcome to contact ask the nurse if you would like to discuss anything; our free phone helpline is 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday and Friday 0900-1600, alternatively you can email us at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org

Hope you feel better soon.
