Sometimes the cancer produces a protein that causes clotting. It is not uncommon, many of the people I correspond with or follow on Facebook have clotting issues. Most are put on Lovenox (enoxaparin) and give themselves a daily injection that prevents new clots from happening whil breaking down existing clots. My mom was one of the first to use this in a home setting.

The part of the report you've shared doesn't give us the information we need to give you a complete answer.

How are you? Were they able to give you relief from the pain caused by the mets on the spine?

So glad you checked in.

I knew a guy who had frequent blood clots and he lived for 10 more years. He was elderly and died from something else.

My dad had what you are describing and he took blood thinners.

It is separate from lung cancer.

Not what you're looking for?
