My first trip was to Las Vegas. It was actually selected by my then caregivers as a way to thank them for getting me through treatment. I wanted to see Hoover Dam, walk in the desert, and see a show. My sister's performance partner and his wife bought us tickets to 'Love' by Circe de Soleil. Gambling was way down the list so I only left a few dollars in their machines.

Just for fun. Did you take a bucket list trip?
My bucket list trip was more spur of the moment - I wanted to go anywhere, just to get away. As you know, I have battled 5 cancers in 19 years, so getting away wasn't on the horizon because of finances. A friend offered a visit to her in Florida, and while there she made me call my cousin's ex-wife, Kim (they divorced 21 years ago). It is now 12 years later and Kim and I have had wonderful adventures each year in Florida kayaking all over the state! If you tell me I can go anywhere I want, Florida and adventures with Kim is my go to answer!!
You've gone and put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing.
What a great thank you with a bit of fun. Thx for sharing😊
Did you get a chance to travel?
No but I’m addicted to my horse. That’s where you will find me. I was dxed in June and on immunotherapy Keytruda. I feel good. Tumors are decreasing. Mets in bronchial area are gone. I feel blessed for sure. I love your posts. You are so knowledgeable. I always look forward to them. Fun to hear another side of you😊
Thank you! Horses are amazing creatures, you are so lucky to have one. And congratulations on that great update!
I'm like you Denzie. I traveled to Las Vegas in December 2019 but unlike you all I did was gamble lol. Lot my ass but sure had a good time with my daughter and son-in-law who purchased my ticket and room.
Yes! just a week ago we went to Atlanta to see the magnificent aquarium! Also met and had dinner with a lung cancer "buddy." Fabulous!
Good for you! Meeting up with friends we met through our cancer groups is so cool!
After I went into remission I decided to start traveling to places that I only dreamed of. My first trip was to Hawaii and I loved it so much that I want to move there one of these years. I've also traveled to New York, Puerto Rico, Italy, and am going to Jamaica in Sept. I travel by myself because I enjoy spending time with myself and I can go and see and do what I want to do since a lot was taken from me when I couldn't do anything for myself because of treatments. I don't take life for granted, so I enjoy life to the fullest and as long as God continues to let me live than I will continue to enjoy life
