Well the whole head radiation was going to give me a reprieve on brain tumors. Nope not me. Results today 4 new ones they are small more srs radiation i know they hit them one time. My poor brain. Next week ct scan for body. This last treatment kicked my butt. Nails fell off. Wont be back. No hair nope not gonna see them back soon either... . One thing came out good today. New radialogist nurse practitioner came from novant facility in wiinston salem nc. Told her about mouth sores she looked and called mucositis ok she knew she said, well i have the stuff for you they only have at the pharmacy in Winston Salem only about 30 minutes. Tried first time throat and mouth feel good its called MuGard. She said this pharmacy will give no charge. They did...... hopefully it will heal sooner before next treatment of taxatere and ram....

Pandora, so great to hear from you again, but I am just so very sorry about what you have been dealing with. Please keep us updated!

Pandora- so sorry to hear about new brain mets and treatment scares. I hope things quiet down before your next infusion. One thing that has really helped my mouth/nose/throat sores is L-Lysine, 1000 mg 3x per day. My oncologist suggested this as well as the mouthwash. Works wonders.

This treatment can be tough. Monday will be my 13th but I just met someone who is on their 27th! Stay strong 💪
