Hello. I have Milroy's disease and was wondering if anyone Else has ringing in the ears like me Thanks and peace! Kent :{ )-
YES!! my sinuses, ears, nose have all been really bad for around the last 4 years or so, and more recently my ears have been blocked on one side since before Christmas and with loud ringing in my ears. am wondering if the lymphatics in my head are damaged and making this constant infection
Hullo yes - both my mother and
I have it. I think it's just a variation
of primary lymphodema to do with early onset. I've not heard of it being connected with blocked sinuses. She and I went to
to St George's hospital where they were doing a study of the genetics of inherited lymphodema
( which this is) there is a particular
gene responsible which we both
have ( a professor Childs did the
study) she told us it's connected
with 'sausage toes' which my
big leg has and two rows of eyelashes prone when young to
ingrowing - which I had. Apart from this its primary lymphodema
in the leg (s) which we control
with hosiery,MLD, and for the
last few months helped very
effectively with 'lymphapants'

best Shula.
PS from Shula (queryit) as a matter of fact I am bothered by
ringing on the ears and one
blocked ear, but my mother who
Also has milroys isn't - I've always thought it's just 'one of those things' suggest golfislikelife
you can call professor childs at
St George's who did the study
I mentioned on the genetics of
inherited lymphodema and ask if
blocked sinuses were part of the
Condition. Or maybe the study is
written up somewhere? Thank you for pointing it out. I'll try and
chase it up too! Shula
