Hi all. I have just seen an allergist who recommends Dupixent. Has anyone tried this for their asthma? Does it work? Side effects? TIA

That one is new to me.

I'm curious what others have to say.

I took Dupixent for 8 months and it did not help me. It did help a friend of mine with her ezema and breathing. They will give it to you for free if your income is not great, it is very expensive. Good luck.

I have heard good &Bad things about #DUPIXENT & have decided it’s NOT a #Biologic for ME! My Asthma Dr. wants ME to take it, cause he knows My Insurance would Pay for it just like when I took #XOLAIR which Didn’t do much for ME I had to be on #PREDNISONE while taking it 😩 Since he said it would Help My Asthma & also My #NasalPolyps so I decided to go see an ENT Dr. about them & he said I basically had about (3) Choices for My Nasal Polyps (1) Surgery

(2) Dupixent

(3) XHANCE

So I decided I’ll try the #XHANCE Nasal Spray but haven’t been able to use it cause of My Narrow Angles Any Nasal Spray would cause Too much Pressure My Ophthalmologist said could Close My Angles! The ENT Dr. sent ME to the Ophthalmologist because he did a CT Scan of My Sinuses & that’s where he saw Surgery I would be a Great Candidate for! & he thinks 🤔 I May have #SilentSinusSyndrome cause My Right Eye 👁 is being pulled downward cause My Maxillary Sinus on that side is really Small compared to My Left Side! So when I saw the Ophthalmologist she gave ME a Referral to a Glaucoma Specialist for My #NarrowAngles & to an Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon cause of #Ptosis so he told ME he could do the Eyelid/Brow Surgery, but 1st I Needed to get the other Surgeries done 1st cause the way My Sinuses is Swallowing up My Right Eye 👁 Ptosis Surgery would have to be done over! So I got My Left Eye 👁 #Iridotomy Laser Eye 👁 Surgery done ✅ in January & about 2 weeks Later I had an Appointment for My Right Eye 👁 which I had to Reschedule cause of a ❄️ Snow Storm WE had a N’orEaster so I Rescheduled it for another 2 Weeks & Even more Snow ❄️ WE got so Finally this Tuesday is My Next Laser Eye 👁 Surgery!

In the meantime WE had our 3 Month Checkup w/our PCP Dr. & My WBC was a lil High so he Referred ME to a Hematology Dr. & I asked him about Dupixent & he said it’s a Very Strong RX & he wasn’t hung ho about ME taking it! also My Endocrinologist wants ME to see a Hematology Dr. too! He also wrote ME a RX for Vitamin D since mine was Extremely Low 17 so I take 50,000 iu once a week now for 12 Weeks! I saw the Hematology Dr. last Friday & he did a Special Blood 🩸 Test which he wouldn’t know the results of until 10 Days! I saw in My Chart @ NYU Langone App there was an Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Test done! I see My Endocrinologist on Monday! The Hematology Dr. said I’ve got a lot of #Inflammation going on in My Body! Between My Inflamed Bone of My Right Foot 🦶 from an MVA @ 2011 & My Asthma/COPD & Nasal Polyps! I just take #BREO Ellipta fo!
