Hi Dugidog

In some women hormone changes worsen asthma. Do you see a specialists (pulmonologist) for your asthma? It would be worthwhile to go see someone who can help you with this. As you know, having to take oral steroids each month is not ideal for your body longterm. Please let us know how you are doing along the way and share what you learn with this group.

My asthma and allergies seem to get worse around my period too. I usually plan on taking that week off and not scheduling anything that week (I also get painful period symptoms too). I switch up my exercise routine so I'm working on yoga and deep breathing. Ask for a pulmonologist appointment - I just recently saw one and it helped lots!
