Has anyone else experience this when I yawn I feel a discomfort and chest pressure? I’ve checked with my doctor and he says my lungs sound clear. Also went to the ER and got some Blood work and X-ray done and came out normal. Allergies are pretty bad tho hate having to feel like this

Yawning is a huge issue for me. I can’t ever seem to get a good satisfying yawn even though my body seems to be trying hard to make it happen. That place in your throat/chest that the yawn opens just seems totally tight and closed for me. I don’t know how else to explain it. I’ve never found a doctor that didn’t look at me like I was crazy when I tried to explain this. I’ve posted questions on this before and it doesn’t seem to be a common experience for most asthmatics but it’s definitely an issue for me and very annoying.

I do that all the time. It’s your body trying to get those deep alveolar breaths. Deep in your lungs. Sometimes it’s a success, sometimes, not.

It's an awful feeling when I need to yawn and can't but eventually I can and it feels so good to be opened up even if temporarily. Keep trying to get to the bottom of this and have it resolved

I know what you mean about allergies. I have an ionic pro air cleaner which does not have filters to buy. Just clean the blades from time to time. But Vitamin C and A turn off allergies. I use 1000 mg tablets. Chewable vitamin C will take enamel off of the teeth. And vitamin A can be taken daily at the recommended dose. Never take vitamin C with aspirin.
