Hi, I'm new. I am 42 and landed in the ER last week with acute asthma exacerbation with my oxygen at 85%. I hiked over 4 miles out of a canyon carrying a backpack like that. I am lucky to be here typing this!! I didn't know I had asthma until the attack that morning at our camp. I had noticed for several weeks before that my sense of smell and taste were diminishing. Now I am on a steroid for a few days and all of a sudden my smeller is over active!! Is this normal? Or should I look into another reason for this? Thanks in advance!!!
