I just tested positive in Jan. 2017. When I found out, my heart sank. Luckily I had a friend who has been there to support me through it all. I should have my first undetectable test next month. Now, Im looking to meet more individuals living with HIV.

I run a drop-in group for newly positive folks at The Center in Long Beach. We meet at 7:00 pm every Friday at The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, on 4th Street near Cherry Ave., next to the Art Theater. I send out a weekly reminder about the group, and pass along info on poz social events, scientific advances, and whatever I think may be of interest. If you're interested in getting on the list, email me at michaelbuitron@gmail.com.
