Suboxone for Pain

Has anyone taken Suboxone strips for terrible Lyme headaches? Did they help? How much alleviated pain? I have a few strips but haven't tried yet because I don't know what dose is OK for someone who is not a drug addict. I have been reading that they don't work well for pain in non-addicts, but I just have to try if it will work for me. I really need methadone but getting it as a non-addict is nearly impossible.
