No carb diet?
It would depend on what your underlying condition and stage of your liver disease. (For patients with cirrhosis for example they absolutely must eat carbs & protein).
If you can you need to see a liver specialist dietician who has your details in front of them and they will tell you what your individual needs are - there is no one single diet that suits everyone with liver disease.
The BLT though recently shared a study into the benefits of a Mediterranean Style diet for NAFLD/NASH which according to your last posts seems to be what your diagnosis was pointing towards. britishlivertrust.org.uk/ea...

Thanks my dr is thinking NAFLD but scans have shown to not be the case. dr thinks maybe NASH but also my enzymes don’t seem to point to it either I know the only way to know for sure is a biopsy
I cut out carbs and all added sugar about two months ago and I have more energy now,no afternoon slumps or naps. Moderate fat, high protein with all vegetables. Full fat yogurts, butter, cheese and cream. There is a lot of up to date research on low carb approach. I have based my diet on the blood sugar diet. I work out 5 times a week, plus two dog walk a day and an active day job. I’m up bright as a button at 5.30am. I have no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes. No chocolate, cakes, biscuits or pastry. No salt and no sugar. Good muscle mass. My skin is glowing(from eats nuts VIT E) and been told my eyes are sparking.
I live on a low carb diet by my liver drs. for last 3 yrs, I am allowed 30 g of carbs,134g of protein, 89g of fat and this comes out to about 1457 calories. My liver dr says the best 2 ways is to keeps carbs down and exercise. keep weight down.
