Out of my depth

Not sure if the right forum or group , short story had raised wbc now of around 12-14 for around 8 years . Doctors are only now testing through Hematology who have ordered a bone marrow biopsy , and an ultrasound of abdomen , I do have allergy’s nasal just since had all these appointments am full of anxiety and seem to feel more ill , ibs symptoms for six months on top , plus bad muscle aches tingling feet and hands am I panicking making it worse or does anyone think it’s more to it , sorry if I’m wrong group

Hi there. Welcome to the group. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer medical advice here. However, there is a haematology nurse that you could talk to on the Leukaemia Care helpline. You can speak to her on a Monday 9.15am - 5pm, Tuesday - Thursday 9.15am - 2pm. There is also an evening nurse on the line on a Thursday and Friday 7 - 10pm. They could talk you through the tests you'll be having.

Hi JDHDerbyshire thanks for posting, hopefully now after all this time you will get some answers, Of course it could be many things behind these symptoms we hope you are not in the right group but you find out what is wrong and it can be resolved easily. Many of us can remember the anxiety and illness that the diagnosis process brings. This made me fill ill too,

Sorry that you are in this situation and I know this must be a worrying time. Hopefully your tests will produce an answer soon. Only the tests and your haematologist can give you the medical answers you want. Best wishes
