I’m new to this site, would like to know how people have got on with LDN and Asthma, although I have a lot of other health issues, some are because of long term steroid use. My allergy clinic Doctor has mentioned me looking into LDN use which he says would likely help with the inflammation that I suffer with, which in turn will/does affect my asthma

We always recommend you check with your pharmacist with any medications being taken together, however the advice we have been given is that it is only opiate medications that can cause a problem with LDN.

I have seen reports from people that LDN has helped with various allergies. LDN is a relatively benign medication, which usually clears your system within 5 hours. It can take up to 6 months to see benefits, patience is also needed.

I highly recommend listening to the testimonial that includes asthma on the Trust's website! Here's the link to the search page, type in "asthma": ldnresearchtrust.org/ldn-vi...

I have been taking LDN for about 6 months now and it has significantly improved my severe asthma. I was at the point where my medications were not controlling the daily attacks anymore and I'm unable to take oral steroids due to the severe side effects. Ldn has been such a blessing. For the most part my asthma is controlled now. It is most often triggered by allergies and I feel that LDN has helped me not to react so severely. I'm also not as sensitive to chemicals. Before taking ldn I would have flare ups that lasted for weeks every spring and summer and I was unable to even leave the house. This year with ldn, though the grass pollen season is causing me to have some mild attacks occasionally, it has not interrupted my life at all. Not only that I have for the first time in my life had the energy and stamina to join a gym and workout, albeit at a slow pace 4 times a week. I have more energy, less anxiety and though it was a slow improvement, looking back at myself a year ago before I took ldn, I see what a huge improvement I am experiencing. On a side note I also had chronic muscle pain and that has disappeared all except for some aches and pains upon first waking up in the mornings, but they disappear as soon as I stretch. I hope this helps.
