Some people have apparently had problems - these seem to be related either to firewalls or Apple devices. If all else fails, you can PM me with an email address and I'll send it to you that way.
Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read it and offer constructive feedback - there will definitely be a Version 3 to take account of your comments. Just a heads-up that I'll be away again for a few days so won't be able to respond to questions etc, but please post your observations and experiences in Lytham's Challenge thread!

I have just realised that I have never needed to find out how to send a PM on HE, so my comments will have to be public! They are positive though!
I think this guide is excellent - a really good balance between practical "how to" with explanation. Perfect to help people who are already convinced, and also good to help persuade the unsure to give it a try.
I look forward to reading your appendix 2 in due course.
One small correction (I thought this was going to be the exception to my rule of always finding something, but this morning I have seen a small problem, so I'm happy 😂). Recipe 2 - Coronation Chicken - the Method tells me to "add the tomato paste ..." but the list of ingredients has no tomato paste in it.
Glad it hits the spot for you. As I mentioned to moreless, I started off writing a more traditional book, got halfway through, and then threw it all away. I figured there aren't enough people who have the time or patience to read more than three or four pages of explanations before they get to the "how to".
Still working on the Appendix! This is turning out to be the most difficult bit because of the sheer volume of background knowledge - eg., calculus, organic chemistry, anatomy - that I know most readers won't have.
Have only just had a quick look at it but what I’ve seen is really impressive. I’m about to go to the dentist - possibly ouch! - but I’ll have a real good look at it when I get home later.
Thank you very much Toadie - I've been away for a few days so not had a chance to read it yet but will get on to it this weekend as I ate far too well (and not in a good way) while I was away. Hope you are having a nice break
