LCHF diet .

Home made pork scratching with salad. Only thing is I eat most of them before my wife made the salad.

Chirpy on the outside and soft in the middle with perfect seasoning...best in the world.

Thanks, the pork scratchings are brilliant. I eat most of them with a pint of iced beer.

I was never keen on pork scratchings until I was served some on the side with a pork roast (heritage-breed, pastured pork). It was really, really good!

I only used to buy the odd little packet in a pub with a pint of beer, that was a long time ago. But since my wife started making them we all love them.

Sure, fry on low heat in for about 1/2 hour in deep oil enough to just covers the pieces of fat, turn of the heat and leave in the oil for one hour and then turn on heat again fry again until golden brown.

The pieces you see in the photo have been cut in half after been cooked.

To be honest this only what I have observed..but I think that's all there is to it.
