I suffer from psoriasis, not hereditary, by caused by having to take beta blockers. Well since starting the low-carb diet the psoriasis is 90% better: result :)

I'm due to go back to dermatologist soon - last year I had a biopsy on a patch of dark pigmentation that was seriously infected, apparently nothing dangerous but they couldn't say what was causing it. Since doing lchf it has cleared up remarkably and is fading, so I am going to ask them if they think it could be one of the documented outward signs of insulin resistance (which I suspect I had, but was never diagnosed).
