Hi my son is 6 years old. He was detected itp since 4 years. When his counts go down i could see bruising and occasional nose bleeds for which we treat him. Can anyone please advise should itp be treated. Have you ever heard of any child of this kind has recovered from itp.kindly advice.

In the UK the protocol is not to treat children unless there is problematic bleeding. The treatments are usually worse than the ITP so best not to treat.
