hi have been diagnosed as pre diabetes 2 at 48 my gp has prescribed atorvaststin . I have to take it for the next 8 weeks and also be careful with my diet . However I am now confused as I have read a common side effects of the statin can be raised blood sugar levels . Obviously I’m trying to avoid this . I also was recently diagnosed with HBP but that’s now under control . Any thoughts ? Thanks
