Chronic fatigue after critical illness

A lot of people complain about extreme fatigue after sepsis & Covid. It has been well documented ( although under reported) that sepsis survivors often present as suffering from ME or chronic fatigue syndrome. The chart above illustrates the symptoms well. If you are experiencing the after affects of Covid, I would suggest that you now have joined ‘the club’.

Here is a very helpful article full of handy hints on how to manage yourself ( or a loved one) after discharge. I believe that the advice is universal, that if you are a Covid recoveree, rather than feel isolated and needing special treatment, you are completely in ‘the right place’.
