Hi hon,

Welcome and glad you found us.

Oh yes I know that feeling! Much as we know we should stop and rest, pace ourselves etc, we just don't, is it stubbornness or plain daft? I don't know, but seems its the way we're made.

I'm having to rest just now, after naughty blood clotted again, pffft I'm so bored and not good at the resting lark. Sometimes our bodies tell us when it's time to stop!.

Hope your feeling ok today and taking it easy,

Take care gentle hugs love Sheena xxxxxx :-) :-) :-)

Sorry to hear u are down again. Thanks for your response....it's hard not too push yourself when there is so much to do. But I def pay for it for days after, I just don't have the strength to move sometimes it brings me to tears.

Hi,

I also have Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction. Wonder if anyone else here has it? That aside, my specialist told me that if/when I push myself too much it can/will give me a setback that can last weeks/months. And, it does! Even walking an extra block. Or pushing myself an extra 1/2 hour shopping. He explained that it is totally organic and that, for me, walking for 5 to 15 minutes is great. Sometimes a bit more but never to push myself. NEVER.

Well, of course when I'm feeling good I overdo an pay a big price. I mention this here because somehow I feel there can be a link. As I read these daily posts, and - of course - I have primary APS also, I read similar complaints in some areas. Not the clots, but the side effects.

Oh, and yes, along with the fatigue comes the increased muscle aches. Goes hand in hand. And - there is probably a relation with the APS. Leg bone connected to the ..... heck, they are all connected!

Good luck, and don't overdo!

Hello,

Yes...all the time! Stubborness and general pigheadedness result in my regularly overdoing it. My solution is to allow myself time to recover, then get up and go at it again.

It's hard sometimes to strike the correct balance, and unfortunately some of us (me) are our own worst enemies! My main concession is to reduce my working week from 5 to 4 days, and work two of those from home because I have an 80 mile round trip to the office.

For me, and the way I've chosen to deal with it is that, I won't give up, I won't stop trying, I'll adapt my schedule, but I won't stop living with this the best way I can.

Good luck. :)
