Today I’ve had three migraines with the flashing lights not had that in years

Was busy last night on night shift but nothing else

Am assuming it’s just part of having APS

Current medication atorvastatin, clopidogrel and lansoprazole

Hi, sorry you’re suffering so badly. The only advice I can offer is to raise the head end of your bed by 6 inches. You can use wood, bricks, books, anything sturdy. There’s a fantastic group on Facebook called Inclined Bed Therapy. It’s all about circulation so your body will be inclined gradually, up to 6 inches on a standard double bed. It isn’t for people with a health condition, it’s how we should all sleep. If you join the group there will always be somebody there to answer any questions and give you the best advice.

Yes migraine can be a symptom of APS, if your worried or migraines continue I would suggest you put a call through to your GP or APS specialist?

I also get occasional migraines what I can only describe as ‘squiggly eyes’ and always yes always lasts 20 minutes, strange but true I didn’t always time them but my specialist said to make a note and also said it’s APS related I don’t get a headache with it but I do after Not nice at the time Take care and as I say to myself’just have to go with it 😒 ‘

I didn’t get a migraine but flashing at side of right eye followed by huge curved floater.this did go but still have some floaters.I got checked by my optician who did extensive tests.Anything new I always get myself checked over.

If this is new symptom or old one coming back do check in with your GP. Also when busy working do keep your fluids up as that can help with migraines a little. MaryF

Yes it’s a bit of both had migraines in the past but never three in one day . Doctors up here came with a new system called ask my gp , which is more online but now they’ve said there short of staff and can’t answer all the online so only try if you really have to as they are to busy , can’t win just now

3 migraines in 1 day - I haven't heard of it happening that way before. My migraine always lasts at least several hours, often a few days. The pain and symptoms do wax and wain during that time, but it is still the one migraine. I always drink plenty of water but have many triggers. It's really hard at first, but I find visualization one of the best ways to cope. I picture the migraine as a sandcastle at the waters edge, a small wave comes in and take some of the sandcastle away. I concentrate on that, the wave slowly coming in and going out and find that it does help with the pain. If I give in to the pain, which can be hard not to do, I find the pain can get really out of control and completely debilitating. I have had chronic migraine for over 35 years and have a few tricks and things I do because I can't just go to bed every time or I wouldn't have a life. lol. Also, I do get a bit concerned at times about what the long term use of so many pain killing drugs is doing to my system. Take care.
