They really are the CEO works tirelessly for the members every day of the year, I can't thank her enough really, I would not have worked out my problems with my Thyroid without her and the charity... I am a paid up member and will continue to be, as well as of course the online forum on this platform. They have some great admins and support staff, and are how a charity should be! MaryF

Until they come out of the pocket of big pharma it probably will not shift, it is a disgrace that levo thyroxine is the only drug offered, very few get NDT, it is named patient basis only. I pay for all my own thyroid tests and every aspect of my thyroid care, it is a disgrace! MaryF

Thank you for this, Mary. When I feel up to it, I shall read through in detail and see if there is anything that might help me; so far I've got nowhere trying to persuade my docs to give me a free T3 test.

The tests are listed on TUK's website, I do all of mine privately via Blue Horizon, I had no hope with GP's. MaryF
