my INR was slightly high and my PCP increased my Coumadin dose almost double. I am confused; is this normal?

Hi hon,

Doesn't sound right to me, I take warfarin/Coumadin, if my Inr goes too high my Inr nurse lowers the dose. Double check with another doctor or specialist if you can, if you've taken the higher dose, I would advise getting your Inr checked just in case your Inr goes higher.

I hope alls ok.

Take care gentle hugs Sheena xxxx :-) :-) :-)

That does sound right to me, either. Is your caretaker trained in Coumadin therepy? You don't want your blood too thin, because of the problems that may occur. Be pro-active in your Coumadin therepy!
