What might I expect to see on Coumadin started today, how long will it be before I may see improvement ?

Anyone know how much a coagcheck XS costs? My insurance Will pay 80 percent.

You may or may not see an improvement within a few days, however getting the INR to the right range for you can take a while and many of us find that it is a slippery devil and easily moves up and down.

Before investing in a coag machine make sure it will give you accurate readings as not everyone gets accurate readings with it

the coaguchek xs is around £400 but sometimes they do have a sale. Try contacting Roche to see what their prices are at present.

It took about 3 to 4 months before I noticed a difference, but at thattime my INR was 2-3 once it was increased to 3.5-4.0 my brian fog decreased.

When I first started warfarin I noticed a big improvement in half a week. My dizzy spells stopped, the head aches went away, and I felt more in control.

But we're all different.
