I am really annoyed because I said my granddaughter would struggle in Main Secondary School. Because of the problems and bullying she went through in primary school. I tried to get her an EHC Plan before she left primary school but was turned down. And told she will be fine in. Main stream secondary. So I said I will put her in main stream secondary school but if problems occcur I would take her out. WELL I WAS RIGHT and she is now HOME SCHOOL . Can anyone tell me where I can get support regarding a EHC plan. As I applied again and turned down again.

This lady is going through a similar nightmare. Her two daughters have Pathologigical Demand Avoidance, Autism , and a whole list more. She has been diagnosed as Autistic.. I believe one has joint Hypermobility.

You can follow her on Facebook, or email her .She is brilliant.

There are advocacy services , free , listed on her Facebook Page as well.

Hope this gives you a start to the appeal system.

Read the comments from parents and teachers, the system does not work.

PlanetAutism also has a name and shame page. I have put my story on that.

Get your MP/MSP involved , the more parents who complain the better.

It's a National Disgrace.
