Hi been pos since some where in the 90's , now on my 5th combo and am quite blase about the whole thing , yes early on i did suffer from depression but that passed , and twice was nearly knocked off my perch thanks to Bronchitis. i believe in having a positive outlook being happy and living as healthy as possible .

lack of education on the subject today means people are taking risks which is so wrong .

All my friends and family know my status , my work knows ,i don't keep it a secret .

i live as normal a life as the next man , the only difference is i take 3 pills a day ( i know them by colour not name ) .

be positive in your outlook live sensibly and don't take risks .

Life is good

It is nice to hear how open you have been with your friends, family and work. I can't tell anyone as I have enough issues as it is. Feel like if I tell people it is just another thing for them to judge me upon. I am happy to put people right about hiv/AIDS.But a lot of people still think it is a death sentence and can be caught just by touching you. My X died of AIDS related cancer. Even though his family were only told he had cancer, they suspected he had hIV and went and got their children tested as he had hugged them. Glad there is strong people like you out there willing to stand up and be counted. 😊
